Marketing Miner adds AI visibility tracking and assistant connection

Marketing Miner’s July 10 roundup made the shift plain: the company said marketers now need one visibility strategy for traditional SERPs and AI assistant recommendations, not two separate playbooks. In the same monthly news and research digest, Marketing Miner said users could connect the platform directly to an AI assistant and that it had launched a new AI Visibility & SEO capability.

The company’s product pages fill in the mechanics. Its AI Visibility Tracking page says the system can monitor brands, competitors and products across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode. A separate MCP page says Marketing Miner MCP brings real search and website data into ChatGPT and Claude, pushing the product toward a workflow where search data can be queried conversationally instead of only inside a dashboard.

That direction was already visible in March. Marketing Miner’s March 30 post on prompt selection for AI visibility tracking said it recommends prompt clustering because it is impossible to track every single query users might ask an AI. A March roundup also flagged regular AI visibility tracking and query fan-out analysis for ChatGPT and Gemini, showing that the company had been building toward assistant-era measurement before July’s release cycle stitched it into the core product story.

For SEO operators, the practical change is not the marketing language, it is the reporting surface. A platform that measures visibility in AI answers, not just rankings and backlinks, forces teams to watch where brands appear in generated responses, whether competitors are being surfaced instead, and how those mentions connect back to traffic and discovery. Marketing Miner’s July digest treated those questions as part of the same operating rhythm as classic search updates, which is exactly how agencies and in-house teams are starting to manage them.

The bigger signal is that AI search is no longer being sold as a sidecar to SEO tooling. Marketing Miner’s own roundup put assistant connections, AI visibility tracking and search updates in one package, and the company’s earlier March items show the same pattern taking shape before July. The market is now building around a unified visibility stack, where the work is tracking the result in Google and the answer in an assistant at the same time.
