AEO Strategy

AI search and chatbots together drive three times more qualified leads

AI Search Engineers says its internal analysis found that pairing answer engine optimization with AI chatbot deployment produced three times more qualified leads than using either system alone. The claim was pushed through ACCESS Newswire and Morningstar, and the company paired it with a no-cost offer for businesses that want to test the combined setup on their own sites. The headline figure matters only if the definition of qualified, the attribution model and the line between new demand and better capture of existing intent hold up under scrutiny.

The company’s pitch splits the funnel into two jobs. AEO is the discovery layer, designed to get brands surfaced, cited and recommended by answer engines including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot. Chatbots are the conversion layer, handling questions, qualification and routing in real time once a visitor lands. In AI Search Engineers’ telling, those pieces reinforce each other: AEO draws in higher-intent visitors, while the chatbot extracts more value from them than a static page can.

That framing is aimed at firms that live and die by website-generated leads. AI Search Engineers says businesses can test the combined approach at no cost, and a separate Morningstar item says it expanded a 30-day no-cost AI chatbot pilot to any business that uses its website as a primary client acquisition channel. The pitch lands in a market where marketers still struggle to measure AI visibility, connect answer-engine mentions to pipeline and decide whether chatbot spend is actually moving revenue rather than just adding another tool.

The company has spent months trying to define the category around that problem. A March 24, 2026 release described AI Search Engineers as the first AEO-certified firm dedicated exclusively to engineering law firms into the number one recommendation position inside AI-generated search results. A Feb. 24, 2026 launch announcement called it the first AEO-certified AI ranking infrastructure firm for elite law firms. On June 22, 2026, the company said it had published a complete AEO definition framework, while searches for phrases such as “what is AEO in digital marketing” and “what is SEO for AI called” were surging across professional service categories.

A separate Morningstar-carrying release described AI Search Engineers as the No. 1 AI certified agency and the only AEO Verified agency in the United States. Another Morningstar item introduced a “Midnight Client” persona, an after-hours decision-maker using ChatGPT and Google Gemini to find professional service providers before business hours. Taken together, those releases show a company trying to turn AEO into a measurable performance channel, not a branding slogan. The 3x lead claim is the sharpest version of that argument, but its value will depend on whether the market accepts the method behind it.
